Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Upon completion of On-Job-Training)oPerforms all tasks in a safe and responsible manneroDevelops basic knowledge and understanding of CNC machine operations, practices and process with competency (lathes and mills)oLearns to properly and safely loads and unloads raw material in CNC machineoUses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirementoDevelop ability to read, understand and keep record of all production paperwork and inspection reportsoLearn to measure and cut raw stock into blanks for machiningoPerforms daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machineryoUtilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety proceduresoComplies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, instructions and requirements of the company handbook.
QualificationsTo perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
Language SkillsEffectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to perform basic mathematical computations.
Physical DemandsAbility to move or transfer product of up to 50lbs when required.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and listen with ears.
The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or climb as part of their job.
