MEDICAL DIRECTOR - Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry

Arbour Counseling Services currently has a leadership opportunity for an Outpatient Medical Director. Arbour offers a wide range of comprehensive clinical and support services for behavioral health. Our clinical teams provide quality care to a diverse patient population. Our ideal candidate will provide leadership and vision within the medical team, as well as provide direct care in our clinics. This position reports directly to the CEO.

The Medical Director of Outpatient Services has accountabilities that include but are not limited to:

  • Managing and leading the psychiatric operations of the Outpatient Services sites.
  • Works in collaboration with the leadership team to establish and enforce sound clinical policies, procedures and practices as they pertain to patient care.
  • Clinically collaborates with the Nurse Coordinator
  • Works with leadership in collaboration to ensure that there is adequate staffing.
  • Assists in the recruitment and selection of physicians; Handles physician behavior and impairment issues
  • Provides a full range of psychiatric services to patients that include direct care of patients in the clinical setting including: assessment, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of patients and determining the degree of disabilities in patients.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
